Summer work in YuKi HaNa

Today is my third day in YukiHana..a Korean& Japanese restaurent here..Today is my last day for minimun pay ( 5.25 dollars) so few!!!!!! Luckily next week will raise till 6.75 dollars (still little for me) hopefully my paid will raise before I travel to LA. for sure will raise, my target is 8 dollars!!

Damn 'du lan' just now..spoilt my mood whole day because of that job. I am doing damn great so far ( not my comment, my co-workers said d..even the boss,that's y my salery are jumping every week..) but the main chef not satisfied with me always. He's an old korean guy..can be my grandpa d..and he doesnt know how to speak English...so we use hand language all the time.. ( remind me abt my grandma with the maid..muahaha)

It is ok if the business is not busy...but when arrive at the peak hour, he will start getting mad and I will be the scapegoat..(what to do..new fish ><) this afternoon when a guy in sushi bar asked me to cook some tempura..( no one tell me that tempura for sushi is diffrent) so I was using normal cooking style for that..and he was so pissed..WTH >< i was so innocent!!

Luckily my sister in law ( hehe..p/s: my brother's fiancee) say to him :" give him a break! This is just the third day!" ( So touching that moment..T-T)

anyway..feel so much better after my LA friend called me just now..h^^

I missed a gathering with most of my korean and Japanese friends due to stupid finals.. but luckily I showed up for yesterday gathering.. I was gonna to cook Bak Kut teh for them..but too bad I missed some important ingrediants..but anyway..we still have one more party to go~

Although i spent most of the time resting ( cuz before that I have a crazy weekand, broke my record again!! 3 days slept for 8 hours..keke), lucikily yesterday night some of my friends came to my little basement and celebrate..well..maybe this is or last time to gather together, especially for my big sister from Korea and Japan..and I will move out from this basement after this semester, my friend found a bigger house with a cheaper price, I can save atleast 50 bucks per month!! anyway, now have to study again..T-T for final..

the weather here still so gila!! still snowing in April!! other people wearing short pants but we still need to wear jacket..why!!!!!!!

hahaha!! this was a special week for me@!!@ First.. I met some MALAYSIAN HERE!!!

finally..after 1 semester being here..well, actually they came earlier than me..but they are from diffrent U, so we do not know each other until recently thru a friend. They are from..let me see, 2 from KL, 2 from Sabah and 1 from Pinang. HAHAHA...feel like so many Malaysian here..

Anyway..I felt kind of 'weird' when listening their conversation. "Eat liao la?" "Dont like that la" I admit I used to that before.. maybe I didnt hear those for A LONG TIMe..it was kinda of weird and strange but suddently feel 'familiar' for me.. and yet..my American friend feel our Malaysian English is kind of COOL, when i said this is 'Malaysian's English'

Yesterday we had some small food party,means everyone will cook a dish and bring to my small basement and eat!! Well..all the foods were fabulous! Especially Kimchi and dunno-what-the-name Korean rice,I prepared O reo pudding,it was freaking easy..shh.. all of us have a good time I think.. BUT my sink wasnt functioned at all yesterday!! As the result, everyone has to wash the dishes in the bathroom..(paiseh..)

oh ya,,I cut my hair..I know last time my hair was long..but now I think is too SHORT!! watever...

FINISH FALL semester 2006!!

Wao!! I cant belief I have done my semester today!! I have 2 finals but I think I did pretty well on those..HOWEVER.. I dont think I can get a good grade for the subjs expecially like BIO and CHEm.. my overall for Chem is 95% so far but it doesnt mean I can get an A for CHEM!! what the hell.. Lab has pull my marks a lot!! I affraid my chem will drop to B just because of the LAB!! pls dont....

For Bio, the exams..sigh..exams were so hard.. I got B+ in the tests ( overall) but once again.. BIO lab pull down my marks!!! Group work was important in Bio lab but my group members...sigh..T-T This time I have no idea whether my final grade for Bio will be B or C..errrrggg...

Japanese Culture..The only course that I have 95% to get an A for final grade.. now waiting for the final result.. I just need to score at least 80 %.. why ?? the tests were not that hard and the Japanese professor likes me!! ^-^ lolz..

Last..ENGLISH..since I cant register for the non-native speaaker class for english( that class is easy to get A) I have to sign up for the NATIVE class.. that means study English with AMERICANS!! So, the standard is automatically high..T-T the expectation from the professor was damn high!! SO..just got B- for the final grade.. One thing that I 'gek' so much is, Everytime the professor will say: 'ISAAC!! U did a great job in the essays!! Keep up the hard work.. as the result , I always get 80% ONLY..sigh.. My highest score so far was just 85...T-T

ANYWAY.. I have done for this semester..time to RELAX!! I will go Washington DC next week.. ^^

I went to Minneapolis with friends last Friday, just after finished my only clasd..FINALLY!! I finally can got out from this kampung since I came here.. well..actually it is not bad staying here.. but you know.. live in city for 6 years and hang out to shopping mall regulary, it is bored to stay in this quiet place..

in minneapolis.. there's some lakes.. no beach..too bad..but it is really big... I went quite a few places even we always lost our way..lolz.. I went to Mississipi river,Wisconsin(accidentally..bcuz we lost the way..) and most important..We try some Origin Chinese and Korean foods!!
